Ellie's Blessing, Easter and Everything in Between

Ellie's blessing was on Sunday, April 10. It was wonderful. Ben gave her an amazing blessing. This was our first child he ever got a chance to bless. It was a great experience. Afterward we had a party at our house. We had lots of relatives and friends come. Here are a few pictures of the event:
Here are the boys helping Grandma Sandy make cookies for the party.

For Easter weekend, we drove down to St. George to spend some time with Ben's mom, step-dad, and step-grandma. We had a good time. We went to an Easter egg hunt at their local park on Saturday. We arrived too early, so the kids played at the park for a little while. They did a good job of breaking up the ages. Ben watched Brad while I helped Ross. Ross stayed around the edge and almost completely filled his basket. Everyone else was running for the middle. Smart kid.

Then we went on a picnic up at the Red Cliffs. The boys (especially Ross) loved hiking and walking around the rocks. George led us all over the place. It was a lot of fun. I made the comment to Ben that I think the boys had just as much fun there as they would have at Disneyland.

That night Brad helped die Easter eggs. Since the boys had enough candy alread, the Easter bunny only hid the hard boiled eggs. The Easter bunny left a note for the boys saying he left them a special gift at our house in Payson and that Ellie's gift was coming in the mail. The boys's gift was a Little Tykes adjustable basketball hoop. They are so excited. Ellie got a Baby Signing Times DVD. The Easter bunny just knew we wanted to teach Ellie some sign language. :)

As if there weren't enough pictures, here are a few more random ones. Enjoy!!

That was alot of pictures, wow! You sure had a full house after Ellie's baby blessing. Looks like St. George was very fun. I haven't been there in like 15 years.

We loved having all of you in St. George for the weekend. It was a lot of fun. I especially loved holding and playing with Ellie.
Brad and Ross were so fun on the cliffs. I couldn't believe they were so brave and enjoyed the cliffs as much as they did.
Please come back as soon as you can.
