October 2011

Brad has started piano lessons and loves them so far. Ross and Ellie like to play, too. Although, neither actually get lessons like Brad.

Ellie pulls herself up to standing on just about anything and walks along the furniture. She'll be 10 months old tomorrow!

Doug's Chili Party is always a hit. Here are some photos of the fun.

Halloween went well, too. Brad and Ross wanted to reuse their costumes again this year. I swear it was their idea. So we only had to buy Ellie a costume. She was this cute little pink leopard/cat thing. She didn't need a costume to be cute! hehe We carved pumpkins this year, too. The boys got a little more creative with them this year.

Other than that, we are enjoying life. I am working on some crafts for the kids for Christmas this year, so hopefully I have enough time to do them and they turn out well.

Brad pulled out his 5th tooth. I really worked hard pushing that tooth back (and Brad screaming at the top of his lungs). He kept coming back. It was almost nice inflicting pain on my child when he was practically begging for it. You don't get that opportunity very often.

This last picture is just proof that Ben knows how to wash the dog.

Your piano bench is covered in cool fabric. I've never seen a Zebra piano bench. :) I thought your pumpkin faces were awesome. We never carved our pumpkins, but the good news is they can be Thanksgiving decorations on our front porch.

It was fun redoing the cover to my piano bench. The piano was made in the 19th century, but now it has a 21st century feel to it.

I can't believe the boys really wanted to reuse their old costumes! What a bargain for you. Ellie is almost 10 months? Holy cow! Time just flies...
